I guess because of my age and being overweight. I bought this to make sure of what my readings are. So far, after several weeks of testing different times of day, night, fasting, one to two hours after eating. The readings have all been in the normal range.    I got this product for more than 3 weeks. The reason for me to get this is to monitor my blood sugar level since it has been at the higher edge of the normal range in the past couple of years. The device is easy to set up and use. The reading screen is clear. I did the testing the first thing in the morning and 2 hours after meal as suggested by the doctor and the results seemed very consistent and in line with the results from the lab I had previously. I would recommend this product to whoever need to monitor the blood sugar level.

It's working exactly as I'd hoped. I checked it against another meter prescribed by a doctor, (a family member had Diabetes) and the meter was very accurate to within 1 point.    I have ordered this glucose monitor and after reading the instructions and watching simple short videos, i was able to test my blood throughout the day very easily. I have never used a glucose monitor or had anyone show me previously how to use. I have decided to start monitoring my sugar on my own to be proactive avoiding high blood sugar. My tests were normally ok, or on the border so I wanted to start improving my eating and physical activity to see how that effects my levels and possibly avoid a future of being diabetic.

   The thing which I most appreciate about this meter , is that it gives you time to get an adequate amount of blood on the strip. Others I have had only shows an error if there is not enough blood on those strips. That causes you to trash the strip and use another expensive strip This gives you as many attempts as needed to load enough blood within a reasonable time.
