   LOVE THIS GADGET!! It makes cooking even more fun and seamless! Assembles and disassembles in under a minute. Easy to clean...I hand wash because it doesn't get terribly dirty. It's awesome for resting your pot lid and not getting steam/water all over your stove and counter. I bought two so I can have more for when I'm cooking lots!! It holds my 12" glass pot lid with no issues and is sturdy when doing so, there are no issues with tipping over and the base holds the bottom of the lid so that it won't slip. The wing nuts on mine fit the threads on the upright stand perfectly and gave a snug fit. Super happy with this and the price was right.

It even held the lid up of my big Staub dutch oven which is coated cast iron and incredibly heavy. Great product at a great price! This would make a nice gift for someone who likes to cook! One more thing, I'm a customer and not being paid off to give good reviews which has become a real trust issue for me lately with Amazon. This product was sold by several sellers. I've found in the past that if the photo is the same, the product is the same, just different prices. This was the least expensive one that I could find.

   This is my second one, the first one got too close to the burner and scorched. I think there is a way to remove this tarnish but I haven't found it yet. So I bought this one to replace it and when I fix the other it can be my backup. It was my fault not the product's that it got scorched, I had a large pot on the back burner heating water and this kind of slipped just under the corner of the pot. I will be more careful with this one. For the price, very useful and nice looking.
