The length allows it to go around a tree trunk and still have room for them to chill out. Each of my girls has thier own leash. Sometimes I use one leash for both. Other times I use both leashes and wear it over my torso. My boyfriend is a big guy and this leash fits over his torso also. Love it. I hope this model gets more colors. Specifically pink and purple.

   I'm 5'4 and this leash is great worn as a cross-body leash. I wanted to simultaneously walk my dog and push a stroller. My dog is leash trained and typically doesn't pull much, but I do pair this with both a pinch collar and a martingale and my dog remains very nicely at my side without much convincing. I did add an extra metal loop to clip to the moving ring on the leash in case she gets any ideas, but this is a great lead for walking hands free!
