   I am just teaching myself to paint a bit and my son bought me the small tool that's in this kit and I loved it and wanted different sizes for not too much money and these seem to fit the bill. I've not used them to paint with yet, but they feel nice in my hands so far. The blades seem sturdy yet with good give and mine are not too sharp or rough as some reviews mentioned, so I was glad.    I've been using cheap plastic pallet knives for a while before I decided to order these. They came quickly and the blade part is flexible and easily cleaned whole the handles are sturdy and beautiful.
