   The installation was fairly simple. The light sensor does a good job turning the light on when needed. The motion sensor is pretty sensitive especially below the light as cats walking by will turn on light. But as it's on a timer it doesn't stay on too long so not a bother. If I had to do over I would install a couple feet higher up the wall so it would activate when you were at the top of the stairs.

   This replaced a lamp in a stairwell leading to my lower floor. The lamp was switch activated and had a 40 watt bulb in it with the bulb facing up. This new fixture is doing just what I hoped it would. I am handy so the install was easy. Remove the existing fixture, prepare the two wires for the new fixture,connect the two wires and screw the fixture onto the already screwed on base. As soon as I connected the second wire the fixture lit. The light is bright and covered the complete stairwell(11 steps). The eye is detecting motion from both the upstairs and downstairs. Very happy with this purchase. It's doing what I purchased it for
