   We have an acre of blueberries and constantly battle the birds. This is the best of both worlds. We hung one off a 31' pole with a swivel mount at each end of the crop area. They flew beautifully in low and high wind and looked incredibly realistic even hovering in no wind. We watched the birds come close and shy away and even had real hawks come in to check them out. They lasted our 8 week season without damage and will be used again next year (or we may keep them out because they're so much fun to watch!). I highly recommend this product.

Do note to leave caps on the telescoping pole until you are ready to extend it, otherwise they slip and slide all over. I used a wooden stake to start about a foot of the anchor rod, to give it a start. Then hammered it in the remainder of the way. Seems sturdy enough. Hoping it scares birds from my strawberries,

   Every morning we heard either the ducks fighting or the geese fighting, then noticed a gaping hole in a tiki hut roof. I figured for the price, it was worth a try! The instructions were a little confusing however, once we got it put together, it's been flying around every day. Shortly after I purchase this, we had our tiki hut roof redone and had them put a fake owl on top so between the owl and the hawk flying around, the ducks and geese have stayed away! This kite not only is made better but has outlasted the others by 3 weeks and still looks as new as the day I put it up. I only wish it came with a pole to mount it.

   We got two of these and fly them over our garden during the summer to keep birds away. My husband connected a fishing pole to a piece of conduit. He figured out a way to connect a strong piece of line to a swivel on the end of the fishing pole. The wind lifts and flies the kite above the garden. We get several visitors every year asking why we have a kite flying overhead. When they hear why they take a closer look so they can go home and fashion their own flying bird for their garden.
