   Works better than I thought It would! Due to the fact that it was so inexpensive, I mostly bought it on a whim! However, having this little thing about...I quickly realized how inept I'd become at threading a stupid needle...AND...how much of my precious sewing time was being spent in frustration!!! Now, I've actually streamlined my quilting/embroidery projects! I can spend a few minutes at the start and have multiple needles and threads ready to go!!! Love it!!! My mother and daughter will be getting one in their stockings!

   Funny about this needle threader - seems you either love it or hate. I love it. It is a little clunky but has worked well for me for a couple of years now. I use the Clover black needles most often and don't know if that has something to do with how well it works. I do hold the thread lightly against both sides with one hand while pushing the lever. That seems to ensure that the needle will thread. I was so tired of the wire needle threaders always breaking that I decided to try this one and am glad I did.

   Yes, there are some needles that won't work in this needle threader, BUT I have loved this needle threader so much that I have bought several to keep at several different places. You do have to hold the thread taut when pushing the lever down, but that's no problem for me. Gave one to my daughter tonight.

   It is a little hard to figure out how to get the thread into the needle. The instructions weren't helpful at all! In order to get the thread into the needle, you must have the needle opening turned towards the place where the thread goes. The needle must be positioned as to the hole facing right and left, not up or down facing. Hope that helps!

   Very simple and easy to use product. I made sure that the needle eye matched the shape specified on the back of the package. Simply follow the instructions...insert needle...insert thread and hold down on each side with one hand...press the lever...listen for the click and your needle is threaded. It creates a small loop through the eye that you have to pull through to finish threading the needle. If you are familiar with auto-threaders on a sewing machine, this gadget works exactly the same way. This is a must have, if you regularly thread hand sewing needles and don't have sufficient light to see the eye and/or are losing the ability to see tiny objects. Plus, the add-on price can't be beat! I'm ordering a spare.
