My 8 year old niece, who has anxiety and concentration issues, learned to play the game of my adopted son Bat and was delighted. She needs to concentrate to be able to sing. After a few days, we noticed some calmness and the ability to refocus. My adopted son wanted to give her this so she could have one at home. When he gave it to her, she just beamed. I couldn't have chosen anything better for her. That said, this is not a children's toy.

It's a nice little bowl and I use mine several times a day.. Actually plan to use it to record and repeat songs for MP3 to listen to while meditating.

It is important to set it properly. The bowl should not be placed on top as that will only limit the sound and not allow it to sing.

Apparently they are a small, family run business and I really like that. My bowl sings beautifully, has a calming effect, and it looks great in my meditation area. Size is in description. This one, probably due to its small size, makes its extended sound much easier than the much larger "Singing Bowls" we tested before. The little stuffed fabric donut is also very cute. Easier to keep them singing bowls from the Ohm store. They also have nice bowls. But for the money, I will definitely buy from this company. Will I buy from them again? The answer is yes. I would also recommend it to my friends. It's heavy and I do it well.

   I have a Tibetan singing bowl I asked for for Christmas. It was a more expensive one. I decided to get cheaper ones for my kids to have since they really enjoy playing my bowl. This bowl is just as good as my bowl. It even comes with a little bag to store the bowl and stick in. My bowl didn't come with that. My only complaint is that the bowls didn't come in a box. They could have been damaged. Luckily they weren't. I would recommend these to anyone.
