   I am a nurse and dont own an otoscope. A good quality one ( like the ones you find at a Dr.'s office) are very expensive. This was extremely helpful when my son complained of ear pain. I was able to see into his ear and he could too! It was earwax... easy fix. Thankful I didnt have to pay a Dr. to tell me that. I think it is a great value. I can also take pictures using it and record videos. This is amazing for tele-health so the Dr.'s can see what you see. This product saved my a lot of money in the long run!

   I wanted an otoscope that I could use on myself. I have allergies in the spring and my ears feel "itchy" so I wanted to take a look and see what is going on. I am a nurse practitioner and am used to looking inside other people's ears, but I wanted to see mine.This works great! It is easy to use. The app on my phone works well.    This camera works well for me. I use the USB-A adapter and plug it into a windows computer or chromebook, using the built-in camera app in each case. The picture is good, although it does require adjusting the camera position (closer or farther) to get the sharpest focus. Because I only care to see how much wax there is in my ear, rather than analyzing it closely, I don't worry that much about the focus; but as I say, it is sharp if I make an effort.I briefly tried to use the USB-C adapter and didn't get it working, possibly because I didn't get the plug pushed in all the way. (The fit seemed a bit tight between the adapter and the camera attached plug.) I didn't need this connection in the end, so I didn't try too hard to make it work.

   This otoscope was so easy to hook up and use through my android phone! The app has a few annoying adds, but nevertheless easy to use and you can record, take a photo of what you scope. I purchased this so i can see how much wax I had in my ears and other people's if they wanted to see how their TM looks ect. The only thing I had to learn and had some difficulty with was orienting the camera upward so the image on my phone was not upside down/sidewards. The package came with several reusable/removable cone head peices which was nice and alcohol wipes. Regardless, I thought it was worth every penny. Definetly cool to show kids and other peeps what their ears look like.

   After I had busted my ear drum and the doctor wasn’t going to look into my ear again, I purchased this product so I could see the duration of my ear drum healing. For the cost of the product, it is definitely worth it. I was able to look into my ear (some learning curve just to get the angle right), and take a peek at the huge hole that ripped in my ear drum. The image quality is pretty good for the cost of the product and by the end of the 3 months, my ear had completely healed without having to go back to see the doctor again.

   I wasn't able to hear out of my left ear for a few weeks and had a few over the phone dr. appointments, which they thought was due to allergies. I purchased this and was able to see that my ear was plugged and that's why I couldn't hear out of it. This product was great and saved me to be able to figure out what was wrong with my ear. The picture quality was ok, but it worked just fine for what I needed. The deliver was very fast and I got it in less than 24 hours after ordering.

   Like a lot of people, I use cotton swabs in ways that are not intended. Yes, I clean my ears with them. I had a scare when doing this one day where I thought the tip of the swap came off in my ear canal. After many failed attempts to get it out, I bought this device to help me to see if something was in there or not. After all, the price I paid was way lower than a visit to the doctor. Turns out, nothing was in there, so I was glad I didn't make that trip to the doctor.This worked better than I could ever imagine. The video quality isn't the best but worked out great for the average home user who thought they had a foreign object in their ear. As a bonus, I could think of so many other applications where it would be handy to have a micro cam at the ready.
