Probably not much more than just changing out their water every day, but it’s not a daily effort, more like every week or two, needs to be cleaned out and have filters rinsed (or replaced)

We decided to give this a try and he hasn't had any complaints. Super easy to set up and clean. The blue light can be turned off and on. Hardly makes any noise unless it's super low. Great buy.

   My 14yo yorkie is drinking water more often - which is GREAT because he wasn't drinking enough before from his still water bowl. He drinks a lil funny so he spills it everywhere sometimes, but nothing a few napkins won't fix lol. (My dog has to push his nose against the edge of the water bowl to drink. He was like this when I adopted him.) That being said, it would be neat if the bowl wasn't so shallow. The bowl doesn't easily overflow, however. I can easily refill it by just pouring some water in the bowl without taking it apart.

   This is the second fountain I’ve ordered from this brand. The first one lasted three years. This one is a little bit larger and I like that it has a display window for the water level. This fountain actually filters the water which I like because the last one had a filter but did not filter the water. Any dog that comes over to my house goes straight for this fountain. Puppy approved! I keep a training pad below mine to catch any overspray from the dogs licking. It saves my floor and I don’t have to wash it. I can just throw it away and lay a new one down

   We have 5 animals that love this fountain! The dogs tend to gulp down water in a regular bowl so fast that they have sometimes made themselves sick. For the cats, the constantly running water attracts them and encourages them to drink more. It also holds an amazing amount of liquid. Between all 5 animals, we have to fill once a day but it is worth it. It is very quiet and we never even hear it running. They have also never been able to knock it over or make it spill. We plan on getting another one for downstairs soon!

   This watering system is GREAT! All of them have taken to this like ducks to water (no pun intended). And they use it, the water intake by these guys has increased tremendously as shown in the litter box. The only issue for a little while was the dog figuring out how to drink from the bowl without one of the streams of water hitting him in the eye, but he is a smart fellow and now drinks freely from the bowl. It was easy to set up and it is such a clean and attractive watering system. I like the blue lights and the ease of seeing the level of the water in the bowl. I already use filtered water for my fur babies but will change the filters accordingly. I also like how it keeps the water cool. I wish I had bought one much earlier than I did.

   The cat absolutely LOVES it and uses it exclusively now. It only took about a week to break him of the habit of getting up on the sink. It makes virtually no noise and not only does it continuously filter and aerate the water, it is also a water cooler due to evaporation. I top it up to full every couple of days and It does seem to require disassembly and cleaning (very easy) about every two weeks and maybe more if you have multiple cats. But it only takes about 5 minutes to clean.

   My cat has been becoming picky about the products she uses as she gets older and I was little worried if she wouldn’t like it or wouldn’t use it. As soon as I put it next her bowl she started drinking water from it. Since then this product is one of her most favorites. It has filter and water is always fresh and it is easy to clean. I am glad I purchased this product.

   This water bowl is seriously cute and my little cat is finally getting accustomed to it. At first he viewed it with much curiosity, with all the color light changes but by putting his regular water bowl next to it for a few days, I was able to wean him onto this fountain by just gradually not refilling his regular bowl. Now, he uses it exclusively and I love the fact that it’s predominantly noise-less UNTIL it gets low on water and starts to sound like a leaky faucet. Not sure if this is a design feature or not but it’s a GREAT indicator. While the lights are cute, I wish they were usable in indicating water levels.
